In a World full of Hate

“In a world full of hate, is it too late
to find love and hope? How can I cope?
By turning to the Father, and not my forefather.
By turning to the Holy Spirit, the light and dawn.
By turning to the Son, for He is the only one.”

In a world full of hatred, I know I cannot stand alone in wishing things could be different. We all are born into this world, seemingly not by choice. But at what point do we forget our true nature. Not the natures of the body (lusts, rage, and all kinds of evil), but the natures of the soul (love, kindness, hope, and faith).

Where does one path of destruction end? The destruction of lives and the divisions therein that cause that destruction. Money, Government, etc are like the waters that separate us until we all feel foreign even in our own homes.

I turn on the news and what do I see? Violence. I turn on my computer to go to social media, and what do I see, Violence! I walk out of my front door to go to the store, and there is a man across the street stealing from a car wash. Violence!!! I say to you, if you could see the bigger picture (all of the wrongdoings of the world) as God can, you would feel ashamed. Even the best of us are not beyond the curtains of evil.

But this is just how much God loves us. He created us; pulled us from the very fabrics of nothing, and is trying to weave us into a tapestry of beauty. Is it time to give up on this evil world and focus instead on God and the hope of others? That time was yesterday.

My brothers and sisters,

Even as the Sun spreads it’s light and warmth across the entire Earth, let your light and warmth spread on those around you. For we are all walking into the unknown and in different arrays of darkness in our lives. We could all use a little light.

Bible Verses of the Week – James 4:5-10

“Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The Spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?”
“Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”

envy- painful or resentful awareness of an advantage enjoyed by another joined with a desire to possess the same advantage

This is something I have to share with you right now. When you see all that Satan does possess, you will feel envious. He is cunning, smart, powerful. Money is no object to him; he stands atop the world and does boast. Many will follow him to their damnation. He has immortality in this world and is both untouchable and unseeable. He is set in his ways, and none shall distract him from his purpose of claiming your soul, not even for a second.

I had to share that because, there are many in the last days who will follow Satan for personal gain, and like lions over a flock of sheep, they will take everything you have because of advantage.

But there is also something else I must share with you right now. While Satan cunning, smart, and powerful, he also has a major weakness that, if you know it, makes him helpless. God gave him dominion over the demons of hell, but what he lacks is the ability to completely take away the souls freedom of someone who is still in the presence of the Holy Spirit. While under that protection, Satan cannot control you beyond the abilities of the body. So what is his major weakness? Simply that he cannot make you sin without your free will intact; or even if he does, you will remain blameless in front of the Lord.

But it’s not just Satan you will envy. You will envy the rich, powerful, famous, and maybe even your own brother. There is no avoiding it.

“But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”

As there is no avoiding envy, God blesses us with grace and allows us to become humble. A humble man can turn envy into something positive. Because he knows he is of little importance and can then make a sacrifice of what he has to share with those who are more important than himself. You might just be thinking, well if he is humble, what if he has nothing to share? The truth is, we all have something to share with one another. Emotions, the very things that connect us. He can share love, understanding, compassion, and he can be there to listen to the poor man’s word. Even some bad emotions can be shared in the right way and given the right circumstances.

“Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners, and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Be afflicted and mourn, and weep; let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
Humble yourself in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.”

And in becoming a humble person, having an understanding of God, and how great He is (How little you are in comparison, and how much greater his love for you is than even Himself (having died for your sin on the cross; bearing your burdens)) you will find that God draws nearer to you. You will be able to feel His presence.

Why should you be afflicted and mourn? Why should your laughter be turned to mourning, that all joy leave you? Because your brothers and sisters are suffering, all around you. There are those who are starving, those who haven’t had a second of peace in days, those who would give up their lives for anything, just to make it all go away. You may not see it, but it’s there. Murder, theft, rape, torture. This is an evil world.

Once you see this and once you are humbled, God will lift you up. I like to think that, the apostle meant by “Lift you up”, was that God will grant your entrance into heaven. But also that he will grant you power to be a better person.

God bless you guys, my readers.

Is Prayer Enough?

Do you ever get that feeling that you’re not doing enough to draw near to God, or feel like you’ve done something wrong despite not clearly remembering what it is (if anything)? I get that feeling sometimes, even though I pray daily. Sometimes I will think that maybe I should be doing something more, you know? So the question today is, is prayer enough?

The answer: Yes and No.

Yes, in that God hears you and understands that you are trying to have a connection with Him. He appreciates that. You can pray for forgiveness of sin, you can pray for your dreams to come alive, you can pray for others, or even just talk to God about what goes on in your life that particular day.

But at the same time, prayer is not enough for entrance into Heaven. Many believe that just simply believing Jesus Christ is God automatically gives them forgiveness of sin. While it’s true Christ came into this world and died for our sins, and because of our sins, He didn’t do that so people could just do whatever they wanted and gain a definite savior. He did it so those who go through oppression, and sin due to suffering can be saved; namely the saints.

I see it so many times; people go to church, but don’t fully accept God into their lives. The whole point of church is to open you up to God and His ways so that you live a Godly life, not to automatically make you Godly just because you go. You can go to church all you want, you can profess God with your tongue, but if you lie with your hands, you haven’t done yourself any favors.

Yes prayer is good, but actions speak louder than words as they say. Your actions need to be Holy. What is a man who prays, if he then goes and kills or steals. You must learn from your sin, allow it to evolve you; make you a better person.

Saying that, It’s important to remember nobody is perfect. We all make mistakes, do things we regret, which is why it is important to continue praying for forgiveness even if most of your actions are holy. God will forgive if you simply ask.

To wrap up, prayer is enough to draw close to God, however it is not enough to be saved. It helps, but it is not the only deciding factor to where you’re going after this life.

Satan in Revelation – what it means and why it matters

So I’m going to start this out by saying these are my beliefs. I don’t know them as facts, but if you’ll bear with me I will try to quote the Bible to back up my beliefs. Satan is mentioned in revelations several times, under several different names. He is mentioned as being the first beast, and he is also the second beast (I will get to that in a minute).

And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. Revelations 13:1

As you can see Satan is mentioned in the very first line in Revelations 13, and in fact the whole rest of the section is devoted to him since he is a very important figure in the Bible (being the god of demons; god not God). It says he has seven heads, when in fact his soul has six (his favorite number) and the seventh comes from the stolen body of the Anti-Christ. I will explain how I came to this realization when we get to the second beast.

And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.  Revelation 13:2

The only part I could make out from this is “the mouth of a lion”. He is a very proud being, but that is not what this verse is signifying. It is that he is the father of Lies. Lion, Lying. Word play from our ancient friends.

Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon. 12 It exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. 13 And it performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people. 14 Because of the signs it was given power to perform on behalf of the first beast, it deceived the inhabitants of the earth. It ordered them to set up an image in honor of the beast who was wounded by the sword and yet lived. 15 The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. 16 Revelation 13:12-16

As I said before his seventh head is his body. The second beast is Satans body, the first beast is his soul. Satan came into this world a very long time ago. Before you or I were even born. however he has yet to take a body for himself. I know this is rather confusing, but bear with me.

beast rise up out of the sea” -first beasts entrance

The first beast “rose up out of the sea”. Meaning he came from the center of the earth (which is how it works, if you are going to Hell, God makes Earth’s gravity affect you, so you are literally sucked into the center of the earth falling in every direction “see: bottomless pit” until you can break free) Side note: hell being a lake of fire signifies the molten lava at the center of the earth, however being on the physical plane and not the astral one, demons cannot feel it nor does it even touch them. I’d imagine it would be a very blinding light though.

coming out of the earth” -second beasts entrance

Meaning coming from the earth, being a part of. Word play again. The second beast is a body, which is made from the earthly materials.

So Satan will take a body one of these days and the second beast will appear. It will make people worship the first beast and will exercise all power of the first beast (being the first beast in a body). He will literally turn himself into a fake god ,and he will deceive many.

The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast

In other words the second beast is a body, which will give breath to Satan’s soul. He will be in a body breathing like you and I.
